Other activities include; mentoring staff and students at the University of Texas at Dallas, School of Management Cohort MBA Program and Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation; and reviewing proposals for the Texas Emerging Technologies Fund.

Built and managed a Pan-Asian news, marketing and editorial bureau that covered electronics, computers and communications. Developed and promoted the strategic marketing alliance partner program for OptiSoft's LED-based intelligent traffic signals. Delivered an intelligent transportation system (ITS) solution with a focus on transportation mobility, enhanced public safety and Homeland Security requirements incorporating cameras and sensors embedded in the OptiSoft ITS platform. Other responsibilities included product definition, market research, trade/media relations, marketing communications and presentations to prospective clients, investors and shareholders.

Portsmouth, NH  2002~2003

Conducted a turn-around for a 20-year old US-based call center and created a contact center organization with 6500 agent seats in 21 sites in the US, Latin America, India and the Philippines. Built the sales team and promoted services to the professional call center community and strategic partners around the globe. Acted as company spokesperson. Represented the firm on association boards and lectured at conferences in the US and Canada concerning international outsourcing.

Created the marketing team to promote the Philips TriMedia® core (embedded silicon) and established a path for business development and media relations. Conducted shareholder and board of director briefings (Philips Semiconductor, Philips Electronics, SONY, SANYO and National Semiconductor) and developed strategic alliances to improve exposure within the end user and semiconductor communities.

Started as Worldwide Director of Marketing for @Network Inc. (San Jose, CA) and promoted to Co-Country Manager for the Mainland China operations for the joint venture between CyberCity, a Singapore government spin off China, and @Network, a US-based dot-com. @Network built and sold data center services and network infrastructure to prospective private organizations and government agencies. Built the marketing, sales and business teams that included staff and responsibilities in the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Worked with @Network clients and investors in China. Trained staff in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing and built $240 million pipeline. Developed and closed an $80 million contract covering 57 provinces to deliver broadband network services in China.

Redwood Shores, CA 1999~2000

Five-year Associated Asia contract turned into an inside position with pre-IPO dot.com. Changed the corporate image and renamed Advanced Manufacturing Online (AMO) to ECnet (Electronic Components Network). Globally launched the company’s virtual supply chain services (ECnet and ECpart) while managing marketing operations and staff in the US, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Japan.

During a six month turn-around contract position, closed US$ 6 million in new multinational business with Jaguar, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble, Brach's, Jacob Succhard and Philip Morris. Supported client campaigns with bi-lingual (Chinese/English) direct mail and advertising programs with up to 23% positive response rates (standard is 2%).
